"The Cloud" is a collection of servers that host software and databases.
It allows people to access the same files and applications from almost any device as they are stored in data centres rather than using storage on personal devices.
A good example of this is when a user logs in to their Instagram account on a new device they still find their account and all its content.
Cloud computing involves the creation and management of these cloud-based data systems.
Graduates typically apply for entry-level cloud roles in:
Operations
Site reliability
Infrastructure support
In these positions, graduates get the opportunity to use many of the core skills learned through the re/Start course. Those in entry-level cloud roles may use:
Use Python scripts
Support Linux operating systems
Operate network infrastructures
Deploy basic AWS core services
Carry out initial troubleshooting
Partnering with some of the world’s leading technology companies, Tech Talent delivers training programmes, employability sessions and workshops aimed at getting aspiring tech talent job-ready.
