Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at anyone:
aged between 16 and 30
who isn't currently in employment or education
interested in exploring a career in the digital industry
looking to gain industry relevant experience
able to commit to one in-person learning day in Belfast per week for 10 weeks
able to commit to additional, self-guided learning in between learning days
self-motivated and ready to engage in group and independent learning
with access to reliable internet access and a computer or mobile device.
What’s involved?
This 10-week course involves a blend of Prince’s Trust support and Microsoft training.
This includes:
Information session
Prince’s Trust group workshops
Azure Fundamentals training delivered in Microsoft’s new Belfast office.

Kick off your journey with the Prince’s Trust team. In this session, you will:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Explore and master the basics of Microsoft Azure with training from qualified Cloud-specialists who work with Azure every day.
Deep-dive into:
key Cloud concepts
how Azure works (its architecture and services)
how to use Azure for cloud-based data management and governance
to build the skills and technical know-how to kickstart your career in the Cloud.
To complete the certification, you will need to:
1. Complete specific learning paths each week
Prove your cloud computing knowledge, with a focus on:
cloud models
services, such as public, private and hybrid cloud
infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
platform as a service (PaaS)
and software as a service (SaaS).
2. Show your expertise on how Azure work
Demonstrate how Azure supports:
security
privacy compliance
and trust.
3. Complete the Microsoft Certified: AZ-900 exam
During the course, you will also get access to:
Microsoft AZ-900 online learning resources to work through at your own pace
